About

Chris is an audio restorer and engineer who first came to Nithsdale in March 2006. He first taught himself to be a photographer at College over ten years ago, by working in the photographic labs when he should have been in lectures about film appreciation.

Since coming to live in Nithsdale he has explored the area with its breathtaking landscapes, its people and it animals. As well as the stunning panoramics, Chris also takes time to explore the beautiful but tiny things we often pass by in our hurry. Every part of the natural world catches his eye. This year, at his first attempt, Chris had two entries selected for the prestigious
“Scottish Photographic Salon” exhibition.

Chris's work has been published in the The Countryman Magazine, Scottish Field, Home Farmer Magazine, Farmers Guardian, Scottish Farmer and regional newspapers.
